Showering with Chlorinated Water Produces Chloroform Steam!

This article deals with the results of many studies that show the dangers of showering/bathing with unfiltered public water supplies.

Would you shower in bleach?

If you live in the city or on any public water supply in the U.S your water is chlorinated with bleach by law. This has been necessary in the past, perhaps, to keep the water supply bacteria free thus avoiding the Montezuma's revenge that so plagued our ancestors. However, even then, most of us had figured out to boil the water before ingesting it. In the last 20 years, many better ways of disinfecting the water have been invented and many studies show the dangers of chlorine bleach in our water supply. The EPA , after completing their study said this: "Showering is suspected as the primary cause of elevated chloroform in nearly every home because of the chlorine in the water. Chloroform levels increase up to 100 times during a ten-minute shower in residential water" - Environmental Protection Agency - Dr. Lance Wallace. Turns out chlorine bleach in your shower turns into chloroform steam. That is the stuff bad guys use to knock out there victims!

Feeling confused and overwhelmed

Gee, maybe its the chloroform steam in your shower. If I was paranoid, I would think someone is trying to keep the public confused and sick at all times. I mean I love my showers, quality thinking time. Cleansing is the most sacred thing we do in any given day. For many American's this time is the only meditation time they have. I have lived on well waters far from the big city for many years and find myself now in a big city for a little while. I am completely shocked by this situation. No wonder there is so much confusion especially in the population centers where chlorine is being massively overused. I recently tested the city water where I am (see pic), it registered as having more chlorine than a pool! In other words if your pool tested out with this much chlorine you should not get in! Once again the tap water had more chlorine than a pool, much more. Are you concerned yet? No? How about this then: "Almost two decades have passed since known or suspected human carcinogens were first found in municipal water supplies. One of them, chloroform, produced by the chlorination process, exposes millions of Americans. The potential for a major public health problem is unquestionably there, and yet, progress has been slow." -Dr. Peter Isacson, M.D., Professor of Epidemiology, Department of Preventive Medicine, University of Iowa College of Medicine

Here is how to feel better quick

Get a water filter on your house, at least a filter on your shower. This should also catch the fluoride, I recently wrote about. There are many new ways to clear water of pollutants. If your water company is using poison to keep your water bacteria free, maybe they should be responsible for filtration systems for the end user. Hey all you lawyers out there, make yourself useful and start a class action lawsuit against your local water companies. There is much evidence this poisoning is killing you as well as making you dumb. Kidney and liver problems, cancers, depression, anger issues and who knows what else. 1 in 3 Americans will get cancer in their lives. You all saw this stat recently. WTF! We need to get grip on our circumstances and quick!

Here is my paper on fluoridation.

That you for writing this important article. When we lived closer to town we had public water and I can remember smelling the chlorine as soon as I turned on the shower. Yuk! I'm grateful to be on well water now. Great work, JAridley!

My water is well water, we live in the country. This is the water we shower with, and drink. No chlorine, no flouride. Interestingly enough we have had fewer health problems since the move - although we get more seasonal allergies

Same here, Mark! :) No health problems living in fresh air and drinking well water, in our case, it's rain water.

I'm not from the US but I guess every home should have a water filter, just to be on the safe side.

I also live with a private water supply, so am very lucky. This is shocking news and I doubt its exclusive to the US - i know they use small doses of chlorine and flouride in waters over here in the UK too but nowhere near as much as your example above!! A great and informative article, J Aridley x

Greenfaol! We used to live in Bromley/Kent and the water was so bad that I bought a still to steam distill it even for my rabbits! I couldn't prove it, but I think some died of this water. They stopped dying when I distilled it! Have your water tested!

Our dogs get ear infections from unfiltered chlorine water and we think the big lumps all animals get here in their old age is caused from this can't prove it though. Also avoid any pet food with corn, this stuff is the worst of the GMO crap corn.

Thanks for comments pass this paper on to those you know on public water! Even if you share a well the laws make it so you must add bleach!

Exactly! So having the water tested independently is expensive, but best!

Neither you nor me is paranoid for thinking that someone is trying to keep the public confused and sick at all times. It's big business. Have you researched WHICH company it is that got the contract for producing the fluoride and chlorine for the public water supplies and WHO got them the job??? Nice little earner if you can get it!

And sorry, a class action lawsuit against your local water companies? Never! Criminals are the lawyer's best friends, I was told by a lawyer once. So again, we don't stand a chance. Not with food, not with water, not with oil, not with clothes, not with anything!

Furthermore, this information about water has been out for decades and Germany has voted against adding the chemicals to the water, because some "green" Germans started a campaign. It's as simple as that. Awareness on a public level.

And last not least, I did read your other articles, food coloring and all. Where do we start to write, where does it end? ONE person alone cannot learn everything about those chemicals and God knows I've tried! The good news is, our bodies are really strong. One of those chemicals wouldn't kill us, not even in the long run, but here comes the crunch: The totally uncontrolled chemical cocktail that we are made to ingest on a daily basis is what slowly makes us ill. No hyping here! It doesn't kill us straight away. And it can't be proven! Because we all have a different constitution and get ill over time where the body is weakest. NO attorney can prove anything here!!!

The FDA and similar cannot do anything either. It is NOT possible to check out ALL combinations of chemicals and pronounce one or the other safe or unsafe.

I wish people would wake up to these facts and change on a personal level. Yes, grow your own food, yes, filter your water, yes, start positive thinking again, yes, get exercise in fresh clean air, nobody but the individual has an interest in being healthy and "they" are just out to confuse us so that we give up and join in: baaaahhhhh!

Chrysolite I agree whole heartedly. I have been out of the cities for over a decade and have just spent the last 3 months in a large Californian city. I have been totally shocked as to what has happened to these folks. This plan to keep us sick and stupid has really accelerated since I was last living in the city in the 90's. These folks are under an assault of almost biblical proportions, I know this data surfaced awhile ago but...., I say give everyone another chance to wake up before they get done in or their last piece of dna gets turned to sheeple-BAAAHHhhhh 461 people have read this paper maybe our wish is coming true:)

Well, J.A., I didn't know that it was that bad already, but I'm working for a big question and answer site and I get the questions in like: "Is it me or is there more and more folks now mentally ill and walking the streets and driving a car?" Well, the answer is yes, but I didn't know it was that bad already. And I get those questions frequently now! Ohhhhh!

Glad I could entertain you a bit! ;) LOL!

Another big issue on the Q & A site is questions like: "Should I help (for whatever reason and the reasons are stated) with money to get a close family member/friend out of trouble."

Mostly it's about bail money for prison (I personally would not pay bail money for anybody, since there is a very fair chance they are in prison for a good reason!) or foreclosure issues or chapter 13 issues.

And bipolar questions ...

Sorry to answer so late, I was busy designing my blogs, but now I'm back and will write more on Wikinut as well.

See you round! :)

Oh, just getting it, the new dna! Ha, ha! Funny! Sorry, I'm German, some things take a while to get through to me! ;)

I'm working on an article on bread and the baking industry in general as they are infiltrating the article sites with their spam now, badly researched confusing jumbled up articles, they get some bods to do that. I found evidence of that even on Wikipedia! Read very carefully their entry on fluoride! Oh, well, off I go now to write on the baking industry. :(

oh my I just looked at the Wikipedia fluoride entry, it has been completely changed since I wrote that article. I wish I had printed it out now. Whole sections missing about the dangers and now fluoridation is one of the 10 greatest public achievements or some such BS. Oh My, I hope it wasn't my fault for linking to it! Thanks for the heads up, to think some still think nothing is afoot

Yes, this is why Wikipedia quotes are not accepted on Universities anymore, there are too many real and grave faults in the entries.

I found another one lately. Look up Lobelia Inflata. It's a herb that "they" made controversial. If it was I'd be dead by now, but no, I enjoy perfect health with it.

Apart from absolute false information on Lobelia Inflata, they put up a picture of the blue garden lobelia (with correct caption "Lobelia"), but the garden lobelia has practically no medicinal value.

So unless you've studied the subject in depth, you wouldn't see the mistakes.

In my opinion, Wikipedia is a breeding ground for confusing the public.
