Sleep Tips for pregnant women during the first trimester

Sleep is very important during pregnancy time. Since growing fetus puts lot of strain on women’s body, sleep is important. In each trimester, symptoms differ from another.

First Trimester Symptoms

• Women go through lot of emotions from happy to horrible State of mind

• Due to progesterone effect, women tend to feel more sleepy than usual.

• Sore breasts and blossoming bust

• Constipation and uterus expansion

• Nausea and morning sickness

Survival Tips

• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water and sleep as much as possible

• For good circulation, women must sleep on their left side

• Bathroom light on so that you don’t have to wake up for turning on the light

• Bland snacks and crackers can help you fight nausea

• Use pillows between the knees and under your belly.
