If you make small changes of your eating habits you will be surprise of the results you will get in the process. So if you start eating more then your body will not feel the need to store calories as fat because it is constantly getting enough food to keep it functioning properly.

Speed up your metabolism

When you change your eating habits your metabolism will start running on over time. By snacking in between each meal your metabolism will start speed up then your body will be able to start losing weight. So your meal times are being calculated from the time you begin eating but not when you finish eating whether it’s a meal or a snack.

Eat A Full Meal

Remember the plan is to eat something every two to three hours. However, if it’s time for your meal but you can’t get a full meal, then eat a snack. Don’t worry, just eat a full meal when it’s the next eating time but the most important thing is that you are eating something every two to three hours.

Stick To Your Eating Schedule

Actually, your 2 to 3 hour eating schedule continues into the evening all the way until bed time so if you are thinking about eating a dessert no problem just fit it within your schedule. In fact, if you eat dinner at let’s say 6pm and you are still up until midnight you are due for another snack by 8pm and another around 10pm or maybe 10:30pm. Whichever way you should always try keeping up with your eating schedule. However, if you go without food for over one hour you might experience uncontrollable hunger then you are liable to eat anything you see.

Eat Something As Soon As You Get Up

Eating something as soon as you get up in the morning no later the 30 minutes after, it could be a snack or your breakfast. When you skip breakfast your metabolism rate may drop 4% to 5% below normal. Or else this may result in weight gain of one pound every seven weeks, even if calorie intake remains the same.

Drinking Water

Studies have shown that by drinking eight 8 ounce glass of water every day will help you with losing weight. However, your body needs enough water to function properly. Also when you drink plenty of water it make you feel full but many times dehydration often disguise itself as hunger, particularly if you are craving salty, crunchy foods like chips, crackers etc…


Remember, you must eat something every 2 to 3 hours and if you go over the three hours biological hunger sets in and you are more than likely to eat pretty much anything at that point. When your blood sugar is dangerously low you might feel panicked or hungry and nothing will matter but eating.

Myth about willpower

When a person fall off a diet plan they generally blame themselves, thinking that they lack willpower to skip meals or overcome the cravings... as a matter of fact, when you go over four to five hours or more without eating (practically once your metabolism speeds up) you will become SO hungry that you simply will not be able to control yourself and not to mention your hunger. However, it has nothing to do with your willpower. It’s simply plain hunger and nothing else but pure hunger and to be frank no one will be able to resist this urge. Therefore, if you stick to the eating schedule and you get this uncontrollable urge to eat when it’s not time to eat then that simply means you are not eating enough.

I like the idea of eating often. I could get used to eating all day :)
