Dealing with skin problems from acne to eczema can be very stressful. Topical treatments are a great way to improve the skin but it may also be helpful to include certain vitamins and minerals to encourage the skins natural healing ability.

The following supplements are recommended for all those who may be affected by skin problems such as spots, blemishes and eczema.

1. Vitamin C. A supplement containing bioflavonoids should be taking twice a day at 1000mg each time. However people with psoriasis should not take more than 500 mg of vitamin C daily.

3. Selenium. Taken along with vitamin E, 50 to 200 mcg daily.
