Ten Minute Meditation for a Better World

What I am about to share with you is a short meditation that will allow you to make yourself into the equivalent of a prayer flag. This meditation will allow your entire being to send out vibrations that will help manifest positive changes in the material universe. This is done by linking your personal desires to the greater good of all of creation.

First Five Minutes of Meditation

You will only need a few minutes to perform this meditation once you get yourself into a meditative state. To get into this meditative state you can either use brainwave entrainment products or your favorite meditation techniques.

If you are new to meditation then use the following simple technique to get into a meditative state: With closed eyes look up and breath in through your nose and out through your mouth for five minutes. Try this before you begin the meditation to get use to the feelings it creates.

Once you have taken yourself into a relaxed meditative state you can begin this meditation to become a living prayer flag.

Envision the universe as the paradise that we all want it to be. You can envision in your mind people having more than enough to eat, animals playing and happy, nature being intact, cities that are clean and pollution free, or anything else that you think would represent a happy universe.

It is important that you do not envision feeding the hungry, caring for sick animals, saving injured wildlife, cleaning up pollution, or any other action that is a reminder of a negative thing. If you do that in your meditation it will cause that which you are hopefully seeking to have faded away. Only meditate on the positive outcome once as if it is in the desired state already.

Do this for approximately five minutes.

Next Five Minutes of Medication

In this next step you may meditate on achieving personal desires. This can be anything that you want to be made manifest in your life. A job promotion, the result of winning a game of chance, going on a vacation with your family, or even the acquiring of a material possession.

It is important to meditate as if it all has already happened, been achieved, or is in your possession. Concentrate on positive things for yourself.

The Last Few Seconds

After you are done with this step you must now mentally link those two meditations through an intention. This is as easy as just stating this “From this point on when I achieve any of my personal desires as expressed in these meditative sessions the reality of that desire being fulfilled sends out a vibration that links to the desires of a better universe I have expressed in these meditative sessions and I, by this process, become a living prayer flag that will bring about positive change in the world”.

Make every action, or thought, in your life beyond this meditation to be positive. Stop negative thoughts from creeping into your mind.

Though I've been a practitioner of meditation, my mind, as crystal, still absorbs the negative colors of the external world. Thanks for sharing this beautiful reminder, Mark.
