- American Ginseng: This type originates from Minnesota, Georgia and Oklahoma. This plant is also grown in China. This type is very beneficial for stress relieve.

- Siberian Ginseng: This type is mostly grown in Russia and China, its very popular for its ability to fight fatigue and ward off flu and colds.

The main benefits of ginseng:

- Ginseng reduces physical and emotional stress, by strengthening the nervous system.
- Ginseng boost or stimulates the immune system, strengthening the bodies resistance to diseases and infections.
- Ginseng is use to lower high blood pressure and for raising low blood pressure.
- Its use to increase estrogen levels in women and to treat menopause symptoms.
- Ginseng contains Vitamin A, B6 and zinc and it also stimulates the blood vessels.
- Ginseng helps to improve the energy levels in individuals that are constantly exhausted.

Never take ginseng if you are nursing or pregnant, side effects of ginseng might be dizziness, mood changes, nervousness, insomnia, headache and also loss of appetite. At least Ginseng is a traditional Chinese medicine that does not come from animal parts.
