From the union of compassion and purity is born true love.

The dance of the tendrils

'Twas time.
A time of culmination,
Of long-held and deepest longings,
Of every blessed soul,
All of nature transfixed,
All of nature rooted in rapturous expectation,
Merged in the tenderest stillness.

'Twas time for the pregnant night queen,
E'en the stars hid in the darkness,
Guarding the solemnity of the approaching everlasting moment.

The night queen sighed,
The thinnest wisp of a pink cloud emerged in exquisite slowness,
And suddenly, the spirit watchers sensed another presence,
From a distance, a lotus king of the purest white emerged,
Softer than the gentlest caress,
For each of the divine givers,
The moment of expansion was the moment of unison,
The pink and the white,
Danced in the most exquisite tendrils of infinite slowness,
A single nectarine drop of the union,
Burst in a shower of ecstasy,
And as each atom touched a spirit,
Every cell dissolved in eternally-increasing lightness,
For, such is the way of Love.
