This is the work schedule of our bodies, although many other variables may influence, we can use this data as a benchmark. Do you know how long it takes to increase weight?

The Schedule of our Body

As well as a large factory that has a lot of machines with certain operating hours, human organs also work according to a certain schedule. Eg, pregnancy takes 9 months, then the food took 24 hours to be completely digested.

Here is the schedule of body processes, on average:

1. Puberty: 3-8 Years
Puberty usually begins at the age of 9-12 years for women over 3-5 years. Girls breasts started growing when she was 9 years old and stopped at age 20. On the average, puberty begins at the age of 12 years

In the boys, puberty begins at the age of 10-13 years and lasts longer than girls, which is for 5-8 years. The sign is an increase in testicular volume, increased height, hair growth, and deepening of voice.

2. Orgasm: 20 Minutes for Women, 3 Minutes for Men
Orgasm can last a few seconds to half a minute. However, men and women differ in their experience the sensation of orgasm. On the average, women reach orgasm after 10-20 minutes, while men after 2-3 minutes.

3. Fertilization: 30 Minutes
It take about half an hour for the sperm to run until the cervix and fertilize the egg in the fallopian tube. Egg releases hormones that attract sperm. Fertility problems can occur if the egg does not release enough hormones or unidentified sperm cells.

After the egg is fertilized, pregnancy can vary the time around 37-42 weeks. Old female and was born with a heavy weight tends to have a long pregnancy. Infants born at gestational age 37-38 weeks were more likely to experience health problems such as asthma and digestive disorders.

4. Menopause: 2-10 Years
On average, women start having menopause at the age of 51 years, although some are already experience it at 40-55 years. In males, 1 in 5 men over the age of 65 will suffer from andropause. Symptoms include fatigue, low sex drive and hot flushes.

After menopause begins, most women will experience a number of typical symptoms, such as hot flushes, for about 2 years. There are some women who experience hot flushes up to 10 years. In men, menopause can range from 2 months to 10 years.

5. Increase in Weight: 3 Hours
The time needed to reach the waist fat is 3 hours after eating. Fat will go into the blood approximately 1 hour after eating. After 3 hours, a lot of fat found in adipose tissue that is around the waist.

Foods with 30 grams of total fat content such as beef and lasagna will turn turned into 2-3 teaspoons of fat in the tissue around the waist after 3 hours. This fat storage is temporary and will be used as an energy source.

6. Digestion: 24 Hours
Soon after reaching the stomach, the food will be ground into small particles with the help of stomach acid. Foods with high fat content is more difficult to be broken. In total it took about 24 hours to complete the digestion process.

However, long digestion also vary. For example, complex foods such as hamburger takes 2-3 days, while the fruit can take less than 1 hour.

Digestion women also slower than men, will also slow down with aging.

7. Healing Wounds: 2 Years
It takes 2 years for the network to fully recover after suffering a deep wound such as surgery. But the healing process actually started in seconds since the damage occurred in the form of tightening of the blood vessels to reduce blood loss, as well as to freeze the blood platelets.

Three weeks after the wound is closed, it forms scar tissue. Over the next 2 years or more, scar tissue will become stronger, and ultimately reaches 80 percent of the power of genuine leather. Diabetes and medications can inhibit wound healing.

8. Replace donated blood: 6 Weeks
After donating blood bag, it takes up to 24 hours to replace the blood plasma. But for red blood cells that carries oxygen, newly replaced after 4-6 weeks. The process starts from the secretion of erythropoietin, a protein that triggers the production of stem cells needed to make blood cells.

Men who donate blood should wait at least 12 weeks prior to donate again. As for women, you should wait 16 weeks. The reason is because men typically have more iron stores is needed to produce red blood cells.
