Understanding: The Ultimate Home Remedy
When all is said and done, understanding is the ultimate home remedy. Without understanding, nothing can happen, especially healing. I do believe in healing of all sorts: Regular allopathic medicine or normal doctors, and homeopathic or home remedies. The thing is though, that, any way it goes, the doctor or the treatment just dresses the wound, but patience, understanding and tolerance really heal it through spirit, God, or the genuine healing agent behind it all.

- Consistency of attitude and genuine faith healings
The greatest and severest teacher in life that leads to understanding:
Experience in life is the greatest and severest teacher all at once. What do I mean? If you experience injury, you must also experience healing ultimately through patience with the healing agent, understanding of how to dress the wound and believe in the healing, and tolerance of what it takes to heal. Experience of hurt and the healing leads to the understanding of all of it in a genuine way. Even the best healing can be reversed and made worse to hurt again if you do not have a belief and understanding of the healing.
The worst sort of experience is the "yeah, right" attitude about your healing or betterment anyway. I will make that brief statement about that reality and go on to the next section.
A genuine and winning healing
From normal pills that do "everything" to help the body heal, to homeopathic "magical" remedies such as praying over the bones of a saint or pounding resin and lizards blood with incense under a full moon. They work only with sincerity and a genuinely conducive attitude to healing. With that said, to have a winning and genuine healing, you must start with a conducive attitude to it, or nothing will be achieved except more pain even with the best doctors and treatments. Some of the best healing comes this way: The doctor dresses the wound, and a few weeks later, a "miracle" does the actual healing. Think about that reality for a moment, and we will get into more interesting things.
Consistency of attitude and genuine faith healings
Faith, let us face it, moves mountains powerfully when correctly done. Fear is simply faith reversed and done wrong, it is that simple. Discerning the realities of this can be very valuable to genuine healing. When I think of the sort of healing I am writing about, it starts deep and ends with good health. Again, it starts with a deep patience, understanding and tolerance of reality, and again, fear is just the opposite of this. I did not say have an irrational bravado or courage. But, I did say that sickness is fed by fear or reversed faith. I did not mean do not take your sicknesses and disease seriously, but I did mean, work with a rational faith that is oriented solely toward healing. I did not say anything either about "do not seek treatment". Indeed, I did mean that the doctor or treatment dresses the wound, but everything and something greater in reality heals it. That is the point. For, indeed, I am not saying that healing is solely an attitude either, but, I am saying that a great attitude full of courage to face things helps always.
Sure, I am keeping it practical and simple, but I will fully explain my positions and justify honestly when needed and wanted. For, I do not claim to be anything but a guy with some experience in life. So, I end with a letter from Frederick Elias Andrews to Charles Francis Haanel, which the latter, Charles Haanel used in his "The Master Key System" to showcase my point:
A letter from Frederick Andrews offers the following insight:
I was about thirteen years old when Dr. T. W. Marsee, since passed over, said to my mother: "There is no possible chance, Mrs. Andrews. I lost my little boy the same way, after doing everything for him that it was possible to do. I have made a special study of these cases, and I know there is no possible chance for him to get well."
She turned to him and said: "Doctor, what would you do if he were your boy?" and he answered, "I would fight, fight, as long as there is a breath of life to fight for."
That was the beginning of a long drawn-out battle, with many ups and downs, the doctors all agreeing that there was no chance for a cure, though they encouraged and cheered us the best they could.
But at last the victory came, and I have grown from a little, crooked, twisted, cripple, going about on my hands and knees, to a strong, straight, well formed man.
Now, I know you want the formula, and I will give it to you as briefly and quickly as I can.
I built up an affirmation for myself, taking the qualities I most needed, and affirming for myself over and over again, "I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy." I kept up this affirmation, always the same, never varying, till I could wake up in the night and find myself repeating, "I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy." It was the last thing on my lips at night and the first thing in the morning.
Not only did I affirm it for myself, but for others that I knew needed it. I want to emphasize this point. Whatever you desire for yourself, affirm it for others, and it will help you both. We reap what we sow. If we send out thoughts of love and health, they return to us like bread cast upon the waters; but if we send out thoughts of fear, worry, jealousy, anger, hate, etc., we will reap the results in our own lives.
It used to be said that man is completely built over every seven years, but some scientists now declare that we build ourselves over entirely every eleven months; so we are really only eleven months old. If we build the defects back into our bodies year after year, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
Man is the sum total of his own thoughts; so the question is, how are we going to entertain only the good thoughts and reject the evil ones? At first we can't keep the evil thoughts from coming, but we can keep from entertaining them. The only way to do this is to forget them -- which means, get something for them. This is where the ready-made affirmation comes into play.
When a thought of anger, jealousy, fear or worry creeps in, just start your affirmation going. The way to fight darkness is with light -- the way to fight cold is with heat -- the way to overcome evils is with good. For myself, I never could find any help in denials. Affirm the good, and the bad will vanish.
