At any time, “Have you thought about locking your doors due to some anxiety popping out from your head out of the blue”? This can be because of the past incidents where you must have knocked on the woods due to disaster. Yet, if this becomes your thought of suffering from OCD, then it becomes more distressing.

What is OCD?

OCD is Obsessive Compulsive disorder wherein people have mental illness experience at severe levels of anxiety because of the obsessive thoughts. Many people do not bother about many symptoms of themselves getting worried severely and move on with their daily routine.

OCD is something wherein the person has impulses with repetitions and unwanted ideas pop out every now and then. In order to relieve themselves from the discomfort, they tend to do whatever their mind tells them to do.

It can be loosing control over and behaving in a peculiar manner by keeping their theme surroundings or one’s own bodies clean all the time. It depends on what the person has, compulsions or obsessions. Many have both, out of which obsession is quite difficulty to overcome.

Cause of OCD

Actually, OCD is more common than all other mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia. Yet, it is not considered that big a problem. OCD can happen due to many factors such as genetics, personality development and biology. It affects a person’s daily life socially or relating to family and work aspects.

Thanks Shwetha, for I know now what is OCD.I always thought that it was "Oh Care for your Dog.(smile)

How difficult It gets to live with people who are suffering from this disorder. Pray for all those :)

What an awful condition.. These people are slaves to their disorder. Good article.
