How is the Occurrence of a Dream?

The dream is closely related to sleep. The occurrence of a dream and the dream of what sometimes becomes a curious question, so you'll want to know what happens when we sleep.

Every time we fall asleep, we generally must be dreaming. Within 8 hours of sleep time, the average person has a dream for 100 minutes. Only, we don't remember most of dreams which occurs. There are about 95% of dreams which are not remembered. Dreams occur during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) of a sleep cycle. While we remember the dream that dreams usually occur just before waking from sleep.

Why Dreaming?

What led to us having a dream is the brain. As a center of activity, the brain always gets messages from the senses and regulate what activities will be done at no time to sleep. For example, the brain translates brown wall color, the brain helps to identify the taste of the food you eat, and there are many other roles of the brain.

In the sleep, the five senses of the body is not working, but the brain still works, even the brain are more active when we are dreaming than when we are awake and active. Therefore, the brain can create images in the form of imagination without any sensory role. This is a dream.

Interestingly, during dreaming, muscles in an inactive state, preventing us to acted upon what is experienced in a dream. Although, the dream seemed very real but the malfunction of the muscles helps that we do not injure ourselves or others.

What is Your Dream Last Night?

What caused me to dream like that? Maybe that's the question that is on your mind while dreaming about something. What will we dream depends on several things. Impression and the very imprint in our memories when not sleeping can be a factor. Routines in our everyday activity can also cause it to be our dream. For example, a heavy office work makes us dream about work.

Sometimes, we get a dream about the solution of problems we faced. For example, we dream about the answers to the examination questions. This is evidence that during sleep, the thought process can still take place.

Dreams are often regarded as the flower bed is indeed unique occurence that accompany sleep. Activities of the sleep itself is very important to repair the body's cells, removing substances that are not useful to the body and for recovering of the brain. The brain repair and mental activity happens during REM sleep. That's why, if you lack sleep, your mind feels chaotic. Thus, sleep and dreams can refresh your mind.
