Working out with the new tom-tom watch

This is my personal review of my tom-tom GPS watch

Started a walking program, to lower my blood sugar

I started walking program about two weeks ago. I got a call from my doctor that my cholesterol went up, and when I was in the office my blood pressure was up also. And my A1 C had gone up and being diabetic I need to keep these under control.

I know that I have not keeping up like my regular exercise program. So after the phone call from my doctor which really alarm to me. I decided I better buckle back down. I know she was disappointed because I always do so well on my test results.

So my goal is 10,000 steps a day five days a week. I bought a new tom-tom multisport, GPS watch. And so far I like it but the battery life does not last very long if you have the GPS on very long email. I wore to work while I was working and it showed I walked over 5 miles. But the battery was dead after six hours.

It's really amazing when you start counting how many steps you do . You don't realize how many miles you walk a day until you start recording them.

So far this watch is working very well it also could be used when you swim, or cycle your bike it comes with the bracket to put onto your bike which controls your miles you've Road plus mile per hour. Also can be used for swimming. And if you're inside when you're on the treadmill you put on the treadmill and the center senses your arm swinging. I'm not exactly sure with the freestyle heart of it is yet but after three or four days of using it I'm very pleased with how well it uploads to the GPS system. I also have a polar link watch that I wear constantly because it tracks every single step.

Watchband and colors

The watchband comes in black, red, pink, blue and what I have I fluorescent green. They're interchangeable on cost around $11 each.

Downfalls of this watch

The band is a little bit wide for me. I would like to seen a more female style to this particular watch it does have a big display. The backlight could stay on a little bit longer and only displays three force of the picture but enough to see.

The battery life compared to other meters I have used could be a bit. The upside to that is is not got a nice sturdy charger that holds the head of the watch securely while charging and does not take very long to charge it all. So I thought I just charge it when I'm in Reston mode or when I'm sleeping.

Miles walk this week

So I've recorded already 15 miles north of walking. I have my watch that from Sunday to Sunday so will start a new day today and after having it for about four days I could say that I'm very pleased with my first week using the new tom-tom GPS multisport watch.
