Exercise does not need to be expensive. One can translate daily chores into a healthy routine that can serve as exercise.

Exercise for health

One can't afford to get sick nowadays. Medications and the cost of hospitalization do not fit into our tight budgets so it is very important for us to be always conscious of maintaining good health by eating healthy and exercising. This section will talk about the need to exercise in order to stay healthy. Simply imagine your body to be like a bicycle. To keep it in good shape, you need to use it, to keep it running or the machine will break due to rust. Rust would be the toxins and the bad cholesterol that your body collects and accumulates over time. These toxins and bad cholesterol will eventually corrode or destroy your body and you don't want this to happen ever. So you want to get rid of these bad elements now.

As a way of flushing out the toxins and fats from one's system, you change your eating habits by eating healthier foods. But then again, repainting your bicycle will not turn it into tip-top condition. It is only in using it regularly that you will be able to keep it in good running condition. This is where exercise comes in. When you talk about exercise, the first thing that goes into people's minds is the gym. So you may start going around, wasting precious gas and time, looking for a gym with affordable rates. But gym rates are quite high and even if you settle for the one that offers the lowest cost, that still is additional expense. So what is the best thing to do now?

house chores as best source of exercise

Well, why waste your money, gas, and time going to the gym when the exercise you need are right there in your own house? Cleaning the tiles, vacuuming,dusting, sweeping the yard, washing the clothes, rearranging the furniture, etc. All these chores make our bodies move and they in effect make our homes a more pleasant place to inhabit. In going places, instead of taking the escalator or elevator, why not take the stairs? If you are really serious about maintaining your health, then you must consider every chore as an exercise. If you want to go to a place that is just walking distance, save your gas, get your exercise and achieve your purpose by simply walking to the place. Everything we do in the house is a good source of exercise. There is no need to enroll in expensive gyms. You can do your work-outs and weight-lifting right there in your own home.
